Mark Wilson on The Wolf of Queen Street Podcast – Wobbles, Resilience, and the Power of the Human Spirit

Updated: Nov 24

Listen to the following key topics: Mark Wilson, Living with Cerebral Palsy, Wobbles Memoir & Inspirational Story – a podcast that’s all about inspiration, motivation, and the power of the human spirit. (And yes, it’s chasing Between Two Beers and The Dom Harvey Podcast to become New Zealand’s number one.)

Mark Wilson’s story is built on resilience, humour, and hope. Diagnosed with cerebral palsy at six months old after a severe brain injury, doctors told his parents he might never walk or talk. His parents refused to accept that. Today, Mark works as a financial analyst, speaks across the country as a motivational speaker, and is the coauthor of Wobbles, written alongside his childhood therapist Ian Hunter.

In this episode of The Wolf of Queen Street Podcast, Mark talks about what it’s like to grow up with cerebral palsy, the part his family and therapy played in his recovery, and how he turned struggle into strength. His story is honest, funny, and a reminder of what’s possible when determination meets love.

Whether you’re living with cerebral palsy, supporting someone through tough times, or simply looking for motivation to keep going, this conversation will push you to rethink what’s possible. Watch the full conversation now on YouTube, or listen on Apple Podcasts, or Spotify and hear how Wobbles became a story of courage, laughter, and success.
